Dear George,
I'm glad you are again getting mail. We only got the one you mailed on the 14th today. I guess you did worry a bit over not getting any.
Sorry to hear that both your pals are laid up.

Dear George,

I am sorry to hear you didn't get any mail from home but you should have received at lease one from Dad. He wrote a day or two after you left for Ga. I Guess you have had some mail by now. Grace was up Sunday and she says she hadn't heard from you and hopes you are well.

Well Saturday was some rainy day and Dad left for to spend 4 days in the bungalow. He has the wall board for the new addition and thought he could put it on but he only got the walls covered over the weekend. He could not manage the big pieces for the ceiling above so he rolled in about 10 PM Sunday night.

We are all glad to hear of your new promotion and sure feel proud of the advancement you made since you are in the Army. That new insignia must give a little color to the uniform.

Hello Honey!

I was imagining you in the hospital with Sal. It rained all that day and was still raining when we went up,

Dear George,
I'm sure you have everything under control, and I hope you are alright. I'm sure proud of you, before you know it they will make you a uniform out of chevrons and put sleeves in it. But I'm glad to hear you are officially permanent and a draftsman.
