Hello Honey! (I Mean Corporal!)
Say, am I tickled that "something new has been added." I'm first waiting to see the next picture of you and the stripes.

Aunt Nana heard from Ray and he said Margaret is working as a secretary for a paint company and it was kind of hard at first as she had to familiarize herself with the different names and grades of paint.

We expect to be asked the time we want for our vacation the beginning of this week, (probably tomorrow.)

You have my promise that I won't open my birthday present until Thursday. You really shouldn't have spent your money on me, a card would mean just as much to me coming from you. Thank you darling, and I can hardly wait.

I received a letter from Marie that came in the same mail as yours. She thanked me for the pin and pot holders. She told me of Al's visits and the fun you all had. It was a grand letter and I intend to save it and show all my relatives what grand folks they are.

Darling, are you just lonesome, or do you really want me to marry you in June? Gene won't be able to be here - more because he won't be able to come down. Now that you're a Corporal, can you live out, or what? I miss you an awful lot and this year will be my first birthday that I don't be spending with you, but I'll be thinking of you constantly. Don't forget our date Thursday morning at 11:30.

I forgot to tell you Marie sent me pictures of Al and you and the folks. Will you ask her if she wants them back?
Thanks.
Until later in the week,
Love,
Grace
